GB3VT is a 2m band repeater capable of D-STAR digital mode.
It sits on a hilltop with a fantastic take-off and thus provides a substantial coverage of the Cheshire and Staffordshire area and beyond.
It shares it’s hilltop site with GB3ST, GB7ST and GB3SE.
This repeater is connected to the D-STAR network.
NOTE REGARDING D-STAR USE OF GB3VT
Members – users are asked to please only connect the repeater to other reflectors out of peak times or when things are quite. We (repeater group) request when finished using the repeater or before leaving the coverage area of the repeater to unlink and link back to reflector 079D.
Reflector 079D is used by all three Dstar repeaters in the UKFM Group. We try and promote activity in the North West.
