A request for help from Dave, M0OBW

If you hear music is being played through the repeater, firstly listen on the input of the repeater (145.150MHz) and record a signal strength. This will help us.

If the signal strength is very strong then by temporarily removing the antenna and listening on 145.150MHz it will help determine if the source of the music is close to you.

All reports with your name, callsign, signal report, location, type of antenna and contact details, which will be treated in the strictest confidence, should be sent to dwilson@btinternet.com

  No anonymous reports please.

A similar situation has been reported by a station in the Wigan area only this time on the calling frequency – again reports would be appreciated.

Remember these people must live close to someone.  Thanks for your help.
